Workshops

We have chosen a really diverse and interesting range of workshops this year from drawing and observation, blacksmithing and bookbinding, printing, painting, flower arranging and basketry taught by some of our favourite people.

Our workshops are mainly run from The Old Joiners Shop on site or the walled garden and woodlands. We pride ourselves on keeping you well fuelled while you work with delicious homemade lunches and suppers served from the Potting shed and Gardens.

This little corner of the North East is easily reached from train stations in Darlington, Northallerton or Yarm and yet feels a million miles away with wild woodlands, river banks, old park land and a beautiful walled garden to draw inspiration from.
